- Why should I order fruit for my Gift?

- Where does you fruit come from? 

For Belgium and Europe, we work with local producers that we know. For fruit from further afield, we work with local cooperatives that share our values. 

The origins are systematically indicated and updated daily. 

- Are your fruits organic? 

We propose both, organic and conventionally grown fruit. Organic fruit is marked with the 'Bio' Tag. 

- For my office, would you recommend organic or conventional fruit?

We are personally convinced by organic products. In organic farming the fruit is not treated either during production or after harvest. The fruit can therefore evolve more quickly. 

Moreover, the organic fruits are not homogeneous in shape and size and sometimes have small spots.

So if you prefer well graded and standardised fruit that stays fresh until Friday, we advise you to use conventional fruit.

If you decide to use organic fruit, remember to keep them in a cool place. The warmth will make them decay more quickly. 

- How much fruit should I order for my team?

We recommend one fruit per day per person at your office. You can either choose your fruit by the piece or choose fruit baskets of which we define the composition according to the seasons. -

- What fruit are your baskets made of? 

You can choose between different fruit baskets depending on what is important to you. The composition, which varies according to the season, is indicated on the product page of each basket.

- I don't like the proposed composition, it's the same fruit  every week. What to do about it? 

We offer a large assortment of fruit that you can order by the piece. You can either order weekly or choose to subscribe. If you choose to subscribe, you will receive an identical copy of your order at the desired frequency. More info in the 'subscriptions' section

- In which type of container the fruit is presented for delivery to my office?

We transport and deliver your fruit in reusable plastic crates made of recycled plastic. The crates are washed between uses. There is a deposit of 5,86 euro on the crate.

You also have the possibility to order a nice wooden crate with our or your logo. Theses wooden crates are made of upcycled fruit crates from our suppliers. Check out this video on how we up cycle our crates. 

- I have received rotten fruit, what should I do?

We do our best to avoid this kind of situation, but unfortunately we are not immune to a bad surprise as we work with fresh and living products.

So stay calm, take a picture and send it to us in a nice email with a little joke, it always lightens the mood. Don't exaggerate, one rotten fruit does not mean that the whole basket is ruined. 

Complaints are accepted up to 24 hours after delivery.

We will proceed to a new delivery or refund the rotten part. In the case you have ordered organic fruit we reserve the right not to refund.

- Why should I order fruit for my  office online?

This saves you having to think about it every week or even worse having to carry heavy loads to your office. 

In addition, e-commerce allows us to know exactly what we sell. With our realtime communication system with our producers we order exactly what we sell, guaranteeing you the best possible quality and freshness. 

Dried Fruit

- In which type of container are dried fruits delivered to my office? 

At MeltingPom' we hate plastic. That's why our dried fruit is delivered in reusable jars that are collected at each delivery and reused again and again after being washed. 

There is a deposit of 3 euro on the jar.

- And for my gift? 

The dried fruit will be packed in an attractive confectionery bag. 

- Why ordering dried fruit? 

In addition to all the benefits we know about them, dried fruits with a longer shelf life bring choice and variety to your fruit orders. 

Snacks

- In which type of container are snacks delivered to my office? 

At MeltingPom' we hate plastic. That's why our snacks are delivered in reusable jars that are collected at each delivery and reused again and again after being washed. 

There is a deposit of 3 euro on the jar.

- And for my gift? 

Our snacks will be packed in an attractive confectionery bag. 

- Why ordering snacks for my office?  

To offer moments of relaxation and disconnection between colleagues!

Drinks

- In which type of container are drinks delivered to my office? 

As you can order your drinks by the piece at meltingpom, they will be included with your fruit or snack delivery. 

 Why ordering drinks for  my office?

To avoid to have to carry heavy loads, of course. 

Aperitif

- In which type of container are aperitifs delivered to my office?

We prepare the fresh assortment of products in beautiful wooden plates with a lid. 

- Should I keep the aperitif cool? 

Yes! Specify a date and hour of delivery when ordering to receive the best freshness. As the plates are made of fresh products we recommend you to keep them cool until everything is devoured. 

Breakfast

- From what time do you deliver breakfast?

From 8am onwards. Tell us 

- Do you ship breakfast everywhere in Belgium?   

No! Only is Brussels.

Gifts

- C an I choose the composition of my gift? 

Of course. All products on our website are also available for gifts. Choose the container (gift bag, gift box, wicker basket...) and the products you want to offer.

- Can I add a little message for the recipient?

Yes! The gift will have even more impact if you write a nice message for the recipient. 

- I have to send 15 gifts to 15 different addresses. How do I do this?

It is very simple. Choose your gift on our website and send the list of recipients to info@meltingpom.be 

- I have to send 15 gifts to 1 address. Can I get a discount?

For sure! Choose your gift and send us an email. We will respond with our best offer.


Prices

Pricing Policy

Our philosophy is to offer the best quality at the best price in order to correctly remunerate all the actors in the chain, from the producer to the deliverer. 

Cost of Delivery

All our prices are delivery included for order of minimum 30 euro. For all orders under 30 euro we reserve the right to apply the following delivery charges :

2,5 euro without VAT for Brussels 
7,5 euro without VAT for the rest of Belgium 

VAT Excluded

All our prices are shown excluding VAT. VAT is calculated at the time of order validation.  

Subscription

- Is the price of my subscription fixed? 

No! Our prices are adjusted daily. Especially for fruit because of the daily price changes on the market. So the price of your subscription may change from one week to the next but, we reassure you, only to a very limited extent. 

- Is the price of the baskets fixed? 

No, but if you have a subscription for a basket, we will always notify you before we make a price change.


Subscription

How It Works?

What is a subscription?  

If you check the subscription box you must define a delivery frequency. This means that you will receive a copy of your order at the desired frequency. 

- Can I take a subscription for all products?  

Yes, but the most common subscriptions are for fruit, snacks and drinks.

- What are the advantages of a subscription?  

You choose your products which will satisfy your whole team. And above all, you don't have to think about ordering every week. You order is automatically generated and delivered. 

 - How do I adjust my subscription?  

Place a new order and choose for a subscription again and define the delivery frequency.

Cancellation of Subscriptions

- Are subscriptions free of obligations?   

Yes! Subscriptions are without obligation. Cancel and stop your subscription with by sending us an email to info@meltingpom.be 

- Is the price of my subscription fixed? 

No! Our prices are adjusted daily. Especially for fruit because of the daily price changes on the market. So the price of your subscription may change from one week to the next but, we reassure you, only to a very limited extent.


Payment

Online 

- How do I pay for my order online? 

As a company, you do not have to pay directly online. Place your order and we will deliver it to you. After delivery an invoice will be send at the billing email adresse you have given us. 

For subscriptions, a single invoice will be sent to you at the end of the month covering all deliveries.

Payment term 

You have 30 days of payment terms.


Delivery

- Are all products available for delivery?  

Yes. Fruit, Dried Fruit, Snacks, Drinks and Gifts are available for delivery anywhere in Belgium. 

Apero plates and composed breakfast are only available for delivery in Brussels.  

- What are your delivery times? 

We do our best to deliver you in the morning. In Brussels we can even guarantee delivery before 3pm. 

Price

All our prices are delivery included for order of minimum 30 euro. For all orders under 30 euro we reserve the right to apply the following delivery charges :


2,5 euro without VAT for Brussels 
7,5 euro without VAT for the rest of Belgium 

Cut-Off Time 

- Until what time can I order for next day delivery?

Night is for sleeping. We only work during the day. That's why  orders placed before 3pm can be delivered the next day. All over Belgium. 

Tracking

- I would like to be notified when my gift is delivered. Is this possible? 

Yes. We will send you an email when your gift is delivered to the recipient. 

- What happens if you fail to deliver?  

Always provide us the phone number of the recipient in order to avoid delivery fails. We always try to find a solution if the person is not at home, like delivering to a neighbor. 

If we really can't deliver, a new delivery will be planned. In this case we reserve the right to charge an additional fee for the second delivery.
